It’s a myth. It might have been a manufactured story for the sake of ironical fun or a truly mischievous attempt to project Albert Einstein as a poor student during his academics. The myth was so popular that it featured in Ripley’s Believe it or Not! But the myth was busted by none other than Albert Einstein himself. However the myth still sustained as it served as a ludicrous case.
